In the calm of a fine summer evening a group of Spitfires returns from the last sortie of the day. Two small boys and a passing cyclist watch as the leading Spitfire sweeps over the boundary of the temporary airfield.

Published in 1988, this reproduction is one of a single edition limited to 1494 copies, each one commemorating  an RAF aircrew loss during the Battle of Britain, as recorded at the Battle of Britain Memorial Chapel in Westminster Abbey.
