The Hornchurch Wing by Nicolas Trudgian
Mark V Spitfires of No. 64 Squadron are being prepared in the blast pens at RAF Hornchurch
by its ground crew for one of the Hornchurch Wings fighter sweeps over
Northern France in the Spring of 1942.
In the background the hangers and the famous chimney stack can be seen with
122 squadron already airborne.
Limited edition of only 170 worldwide.
We are very honoured that Wing Commander Frank Dowling OBE who was Station Adjutant at RAF Hornchurch 1941-1943 has signed the new print Hornchurch Wing along with the artist Nicolas Trudgian.
